Tetracyclics are chemical compounds that contain four interconnected rings of atoms, e.g. Tröger's base.

Doxycycline, a tetracyclic antibiotic.

Mirtazapine, a tetracyclic antidepressant.
They have various pharmaceutical uses, for instance the tetracycline antibiotics and the tetracyclic antidepressants.
