Pam Lutz is the Associate Director for Policy in the Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Laboratory Services.
During her 20-year public health career, Ms. Lutz has served in numerous roles at the local, state, and federal levels. She has held field assignments as a public health advisor with the Los Angeles County Sexually Transmitted Disease Program; with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the Iowa Department of Public Health, and the New York State Department of Health Immunization Programs as a program manager; and as the Officer-in-Charge of the CDC Minneapolis Quarantine Station. She has held policy positions in the Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Program, the Epidemiology Program Office, and the National Center for Public Health Informatics.
Ms. Lutz also assumed a variety of roles in the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response, including Deputy Strategy and Innovation Officer, Acting Deputy Director of the Division of State and Local Readiness, and Senior Policy and Issues Manager in the Division of State and Local Readiness.
