Anja Minnick is the Associate Director of Evaluation in the Division of Laboratory Systems. Ms. Minnick has over 13 years of public health monitoring and evaluation, program design, and program management experience in the United States, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Previously, Ms. Minnick worked for the University of Washington’s International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) as the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation. Her leadership and guidance on evaluation protocol development and execution across 10 Sub-Saharan African countries was instrumental in developing outcome performance data showing program contributions to epidemic control of HIV/AIDS. As a Global Health Fellow, Ms. Minnick co-authored, “Strategies to Reduce Risks in ARV Supply Chains in the Developing World.” She also planned, designed, and conducted strategic planning retreats and outcome reports for the Fiscal Year 2009 HIV/AIDS Kenya Centers for CDC’s portfolio transition.

Ms. Minnick earned her Master of Science from the London School of Economics with specializations in demography and development economics, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah in political science and communications with a concentration in public speaking.
