Program Description:
This activity is designed to close existing knowledge gaps in the healthcare population, which contribute to low hand hygiene and glove use adherence across US healthcare settings.
Objectives:
By the conclusion of the session, the participant will be able to:
- Identify hand hygiene recommendations for C. difficile patients in routine care and in outbreak situations.
- Identify best practices for glove use.
- Describe the role of environmental cleaning in preventing the spread of C. difficile.
