Health-related quality of life is an individual's or a group's perceived physical and mental health over time. This site provides public access to eight different health-related quality of life measures yearly from 1993 through 2010 for the entire United States and individual U.S. States overall, by gender, by age group, and by race/ethnicity.
The health-related quality of life website provides access to general information about the program and its history, background on health-related quality of life, and publications validating and analyzing measures.

Data on this site can be used to identify unmet population health needs including recognizing trends, disparities, and determinants of health in the population.
