Course Description: This basic webinar will describe serological and molecular methodologies used for the laboratory diagnosis of hepatitis C virus infections. It will also cover the current status and challenges in the diagnosis of hepatitis C infections.
Course Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:
- Describe the diagnostic landscape of hepatitis C
- Explain the challenges of hepatitis C diagnostics
- Review the CDC’s updated guidelines for the diagnosis of hepatitis C
