What
CDC’s Preventing Youth Violence: Opportunities for Action and its companion guide provide information and action steps to help community leaders and members, public health professionals, families, and young people to be part of the solution in preventing youth violence. Research and experience show that youth violence can be prevented. Each member of a community has an important role in stopping youth violence before it starts. These consumer-friendly online resources will provide communities with specific evidence-based strategies to help reduce or prevent youth violence.
