Business Pulse: Healthy Workforce, launched today by CDC Foundation, provides employers and workers with access to resources and information to help improve workforce health and safety, attract and retain high-performing employees and minimize health care costs. This issue of Business Pulse highlights specific workforce health challenges faced by businesses as well as a question and answer feature between a CDC workforce health expert and a mid-sized employer, Lincoln Industries. Business Pulse: Healthy Workforce also features an interactive infographic that provides useful facts and links, along with online CDC resources.
Each year, worker injury and illness costs U.S. employers $225.8 billion. Employers can play an important part in preventing injuries and illnesses and promoting employees’ health and well-being.
