The National Academies Evaluation of NIOSH Programs
2006
NIOSH Docket Number 61
From mid-2005 until the end of 2008, the National Academies conducted separate evaluation studies of eight NIOSH programs. The purpose of the reviews was to assess the impact and relevance of each program and to identify emerging issues. A panel of experts was recruited for each NIOSH program review. Once the panel’s report was drafted, it was reviewed by a second, independent panel of experts. NIOSH did not receive any submissions.
