Request for Nominations for the WTC Health Program Science/Technical Advisory Committee

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is soliciting nominations to succeed members on the World Trade Center Health Program, Scientific Technical Advisory Committee (WTCHP-STAC). Specifically, nominations in the following categories are being solicited:
- Epidemiologist
- Environmental medicine or environmental health specialist
- Occupational physician with experience treating WTC rescue and recovery workers;
- Occupational physician
- Representative of WTC responders;
- Toxicologist
This committee was established by Public Law 111-347 (The James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensations Act of 2010, Title XXXIII of the Public Health Service Act), enacted on January 2, 2011, Section 3302(a). The WTCHP-STAC is governed by the provisions of Public Law 92—463, the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended (5 U.S.C.App.), which sets forth standards for the formation and use of advisory committees in the Executive Branch. NIOSH is committed to bringing greater diversity of thought, perspective and experience to its advisory committees.
