The NIOSH Hearing Protector Device Compendium represents an effort to collect data published by manufacturers of hearing protectors sold in the United States.

The Compendium is organized to enable visitors to easily access information about these hearing protectors. Hearing protectors are organized to permit searches by type, brand, attenuation, amount of noise reduction and other features allowing visitors to locate the hearing protectors that best fit their needs.

How to Participate

Hearing protector manufacturers that wish to participate in the NIOSH Hearing Protector Device Compendium are encouraged to submit the data about their products using the HPDCalc tool.
