Other Systems Linked to NORS
The One Health Harmful Algal Bloom System (OHHABS) is linked to NORS and shares web-based reporting features. OHHABS is a case-based and event-based reporting system for Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) – associated human and animal illnesses and HAB events. For more information about OHHABS, please visit the CDC’s One Health Harmful Algal Bloom System (OHHABS) web page. For more information about HAB-associated illnesses, please visit the CDC’s Harmful Algal Bloom – Associated Illnesses website.
CaliciNet is a national norovirus outbreak surveillance network of federal, state, and local public health laboratories in the United States. Participating public health laboratories electronically submit laboratory data, including genetic sequences of norovirus strains. When a CaliciNet record is matched to a NORS record by the NORS State ID or CDC ID, norovirus strain data from CaliciNet is available for import to NORS. For more information about CaliciNet, please visit the CDC's CaliciNet web page. For more information about norovirus, please visit the CDC's norovirus website.
