America Attacked - PHAs Respond
The National Pharmaceutical Stockpile (NPS) Program was part of the CDC response to the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The NPS Program is part of the CDC response to terrorism, and is prepared to deliver life-saving antibiotics, antidote, and other medical supplies to the scene of a terrorist event anywhere in the United States or its territories. On September 11, PHAs were part of this emergency response.
