Adult Dosing

  • Uncomplicated influenza: 600mg IV as single dose
  • Influenza requiring hospitalization: 600mg IV daily or 300mg IV BID for 5-10 days

Special Populations

  • Pregnancy Rating: C
  • Lactation risk: Infant risk cannot be ruled out
  • Renal dosing
    • CrCl 30-50: 150-200mg IV daily
    • CrCl 10-30: 100mg IV daily
    • CrCl <10: 100 mg IV on day 1, followed by 15 mg IV daily on subsequent days
  • Hepatic dosing: not defined

  • Allergy to class/drug

  • SJS
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Abnormal behavior, hallucinations
