Adult Dosing
- Hyperuricemia due to tumor lysis syndrome: 0.2 mg/kg IV over 30 minutes daily for up to 5 days
Pediatric Dosing
- 0.2 mg/kg IV over 30 minutes daily for up to 5 days

Contraindications
- Allergy to class/drug
- G6PD deficiency
- History of hemolytic reaction to rasburicase or any excipients
- History of methemoglobinemia reaction to rasburicase or any excipients
Adverse Reactions
Serious
- Dysrhythmia, MI, heart failure, cardiac arrest
- Bowel obstruction
- Severe diarrhea, dehydration
- Methemoglobinemia
- Neutropenia, hemolysis, thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia
- Hemorrhage, thrombosis
- Sepsis
- Stroke
- Renal failure
- Pulmonary edema, pulmonary hypertension, pneumonia, respiratory distress
- Fever (severe), rigors
