Administration
- Type: Topical steroids
- Dosage Forms: Ointment/Cream: 0.025%, 0.5% . Nasal spray: 55 mcg/spray
- Routes of Administration: Topical, intranasal
- Common Trade Names: Kenalog, Aristocort cream, Nasocort
Adult Dosing
- Skin disorders
- Apply to affected areas 2-4 times per day
- Allergic rhinitis
- 2 sprays in each nostril 1-2 times per day
Pediatric Dosing
- Topical: apply to affected area 2-4 times per day
- Intranasal:
- 6-12yo: 1 spray in each nostril 1-2 times per day
- 2-5yo: 1 spray in each nostril once daily
