Step 1.1 Identifying Exposure Categories
Exercise
You have collected preliminary information about possible exposure pathways at Oak Estates(Oak Estates is a hypothetical community introduced in the first course in this series: "Public Health Assessment Overview- 1: Mission and Community." ). Now you need to decide whether the exposure pathway you identified is complete, potential, or eliminated based on the following findings.
Findings: Site investigation reports state that Aroclor1254 and arsenic are in surface soil samples collected at a closed landfill. People living in a retirement community built on the landfill have flower gardens. No surface soil samples have been collected from the flower beds.
Pathway elements: Click on the appropriate question to identify the pathway elements addressed in the findings.
