PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

This is an important message from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Drugs stored at high temperatures, or exposed to intense heat, such as a fire, quickly lose strength. When storing drugs, follow the label instructions. Drugs that don’t require refrigeration should be stored in a location with temperatures below 100 degrees. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist about replacing your drugs if they were exposed to intense heat or stored at high temperatures for a week or more. To learn more, call CDC at 800-CDC-INFO.
