National Conference on State-Based Occupational Health and
Safety Activities
The National Conference on State-Based Occupational Health and
Safety Activities, sponsored by CDC's National Institute for
Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), National Center for
Health Statistics, and Public Health Practice Program Office and
the Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health
Administration and Bureau of Labor Statistics, will be held
September 3-6, 1991, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The theme, "Preparing
for the 90s," places a high priority on prevention and embraces
the concept that efforts at the state level will continue to play
a vital role in prevention efforts. The deadline for submitting
abstracts is March 1, 1991.
