In the article "Schistosomiasis in U.S. Peace Corps
Volunteers -- Malawi, 1992," on page 567 in the editorial note, the
first paragraph, second sentence, should read "S. mansoni and S.
japonicum primarily affect the gastrointestinal tract; chronic
infection can lead to hepatosplenomegaly, variceal bleeding, and
cirrhosis."
