Satellite Videoconference on Viral Sexually Transmitted Diseases
Update on Viral STDs: Genital Herpes and Human
Papillomavirus (HPV), a satellite videoconference, will be
broadcast to sites nationwide from the St. Louis STD/HIV
Prevention Training Center on March 20, 1997, from 8 a.m. to 10
a.m. eastern standard time (EST), and repeated from noon to 2
p.m. EST. Cosponsors are CDC and the St. Louis and Denver
STD/HIV prevention training centers.
This program will address epidemiology, clinical aspects,
counseling, and prevention of genital herpes and HPV. Toll-free
telephone lines will be available for participants to ask
questions regarding surveillance, epidemiology, investigation,
and prevention and control of genital herpes and HPV.
Information about registration, satellite, and Continuing
Medical Education and Continuing Education Units is available
from the Prevention Training Center in each Public Health
