The 2-hour forum is cosponsored by CDC and the Public Health Training Network, and describes CDC's revised recommendations for HIV screening of pregnant women (1). Presentations and interviews will provide an update on implementation issues for the revised recommendations and identify special populations at high risk of perinatal transmission of HIV. This broadcast is designed for community-based organizations, service providers, and other persons in contact with women of childbearing age about any health matters such as prenatal care, primary care, and substance abuse. Viewers can fax questions and comments before and during the broadcast.
