In the article "Tuberculosis Outbreak on an American Indian Reservation---Montana,
2000--2001," an error occurred
in the third sentence of the second paragraph on page 232. The sentence should read, "At the time of presentation, the
index patient had a productive cough and a sputum smear that demonstrated acid-fast bacilli (AFB),
suggesting infectiousness."
