Notice to Readers: Satellite Broadcast on Sexual Violence PreventionCDC will present a live, interactive satellite broadcast and webcast, "Sexual Violence Prevention: Building Leadership and Commitment to Underserved Communities," on April 3, 2003, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST. Participants will learn to identify strategies that can help prevent sexual violence in underserved communities. A question and answer session will enable participants nationwide to pose questions to panelists by toll-free telephone, fax, or TTY lines. The program is designed for rape-prevention and education practitioners and program managers; state health department officials (injury prevention programs, maternal and child health, and women's health) and other public health officials; health professionals; state sexual violence prevention coalitions; local rape crisis centers; private and nonprofit organizations; Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) grantees and administrators; Victims Of Crime Acts (VOCA) grantees and administrators; and other partners.
