Setting Up a Legacy Program in Your Community
These pages provide information for agencies using the Legacy for Children™ parenting program. You can use these resources to support Legacy at your site.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides curricula, training, coaching, and fidelity monitoring resources to the federal agencies using the Legacy for Children™ (Legacy) program. Staff from the two original Legacy research sites (Miami and Los Angeles) assist with the training and coaching support. Current pilot sites include the following programs: Administration for Children and Families’ Early Head Start, Health Resources and Services Administration’s Healthy Start, and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration’s Project LAUNCH. CDC cannot add additional pilot sites at this time.
