From 2001–2010, CDC funded cooperative agreements to build capacity to improve environmental health service delivery and create tools and products for other programs to use or adapt. The resulting products and tools address a range of environmental health issues. In 2010, this program merged with the Environmental Health Specialists Network (EHS-Net) to support environmental health service programs in preventing foodborne and waterborne illnesses.
