Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program Community Awareness Project (CLPPP CAP)
The CLPPP CAP project was a pilot partnership project between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program and faith-based organizations in an effort to build strong grassroots organizations that involve local community residents in lead poisoning prevention. These efforts especially focused on issues of low- and moderate-income residents as well as residents who purchase homes built before 1950.
