Rob Curlee

Rob brings 32 years of federal government service to ITSO. Rob came to CDC in 1998 in the Financial Management Office (FMO) and has been appointed to several progressive roles as the Deputy Director for Budget and Travel, Budget Branch Chief, Financial Systems Branch Chief and Deputy, as a Systems Accountant. Most recently, he served on detail as executive liaison with the Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCIO) and FMO for business modernization tasks in implementing the Position Based Management System (PBMS) and the Integrated Resource Information System (IRIS) enhancements for agency budget planning, forecasting, formulation and analysis.

Rob has an extensive background in leading large financial systems and information technology activities with CDC and the Department of Defense. During 2001 – 2003, Rob served on detail as the Deputy Director for the Department of Health and Human Services for the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) program, and helped lead the implementation of the UFMS across DHHS OPDIVs to include CDC. Prior to coming to CDC, Rob served for the Department of Defense (DoD) in Arlington, VA and Wiesbaden, Germany, and led Financial and Information Systems teams in developing and implementing a funds control management system and transportation tracking system which was deployed across multiple military bases around the world.

Mr. Curlee received his B.G.S from Samford University and his M.A.E. from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Other Federal service includes the U.S. Postal Service. He also served active duty in the U.S. Army.
