Polio Oversight Board

The Polio Oversight Board (POB), comprised of the heads of agencies of core GPEI partners, provides close oversight of the GPEI and program management and ensures high-level accountability across the GPEI partnership. CDC Director Dr. Frieden assumed the Chair of the POB on January 1, 2015, leading the operational oversight of the board. Dr. Frieden plans to communicate with GPEI partners through a monthly newsletter.
