A critical goal of the Surveillance Data Platform (SDP) with Shared Services initiative is to reduce the burden of reporting critical public health data. By streamlining the exchange of data through a set of responsive shared services, SDP aims to enable these partners to report to multiple CDC programs simultaneously—without submitting multiple reports. Over time, SDP will also seek to provide innovative technologies, so that partners and CDC can more efficiently collaborate and protect national health and safety. In order to get to this solution, the SDP team invites public health partners to share feedback during the iterative development process—to ensure that the technology solution and supporting SDP surveillance services meet critical needs over the short term (initial services) and long term (future phases). Partners can connect with us by emailing the team at surveillanceplatform@cdc.gov.
