Program Description

The goal of this activity is to understand the medical and mental health comorbidities found in 9/11 responders and survivors.

Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

1. Identify the groups of individuals affected by the 9/11 terrorist attack and environmental disaster and their range of exposures
2. Describe acute and longer-term aerodigestive and mental health impacts on populations exposed to the WTC disaster
3. Describe the benefits of a patient-centered, multidisciplinary program in managing 9/11 exposure-related medical and mental health comorbidities
4. Identify groups of individuals affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks and describe the benefits of patient-centered care
