Map Details - Children in Kentucky: Analyzing Indicators for Improved Health
Impact Statement
This map examines indicators for children’s health in Kentucky. It shows the locations of Healthy Homes Inspectors and Tobacco Free School Districts along with the percent of houses built prior to 1979 (which may contain lead-based paints).
Findings
By looking at these indicators geospatially, we can identify areas of the state where we can establish more Healthy Homes Inspectors and encourage more Tobacco Free School policies.

Geocoded Healthy Homes Inspectors; Downloaded, Cleaned, and Imported ACS data for housing age / Lead; Imported Excel into Shapefile for Tobacco Free School Districts.
