Impact Statement
This map is one in a series of maps that documented the mortality burden of cardiovascular diseases in Colorado including age-adjusted mortality rates per 100,000 and number of deaths by county.
Findings
Ten counties were above the U.S. rate of 289.5 and 27 of counties were above the state rate of 247.5. These data suggest areas where prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease are most needed.
