State Injury Indicators Reports
In This Section
The State Injury Indicator (SII) Reports present injury data voluntarily collected by state health departments. The reports consolidate data from hospital records, death certificates, and several national surveillance systems and provide the rates of various injuries and related factors.
The SSI Report findings presented can help states determine their individual injury prevention program priorities; identify prevention needs; and can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of program activities and problems that require further investigation.
