Objective: Assess the effectiveness of the state’s [Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Division of solid Waste Management, Lead Based Paint Abatement Program] efforts to reduce childhood lead poisoning by providing outreach and education (O&E) on the EPA’s Lead Based Paint Regulations View the 2008 Tennessee Logic Model Abstract: The goals of developing a program to evaluate the O&E of the Tennessee Lead Based Paint Program (TN LBPP) include determining all activities that can be classified as O&E and reviewing these activities for effectiveness. The TN LBPP actively works with the following target groups: training providers, contractors, partners and federally-funded grantees, primary caregivers, landlords, realtors, and the general public.
