- NIOSH EID and NIOSH truck driver survey project team had a booth at the conference for disseminating NIOSH trucking safety and health programs to the stakeholders. NIOSH participants included Karl Sieber, Ted Hitchcock, and Guang Chen. Karl Sieber gave a presentation of the NIOSH truck driver survey project.

- NIOSH workshop on “Obesity and Weight Management Program in Commercial Drivers.” November 9, 2010, Baltimore, MD. There were two sessions: Obesity and CMV Drivers: Research Prospective, and Company and Pilot Program Perspectives. There were six presentations: 1) Obesity in the Commercial Trucking Population, 2) Challenges and Opportunities in Addressing Diet, Obesity and Chronic Disease in Commercial Drivers, 3) Trucking and Occupational Health Disparities: Health Promotion for Obesogenic Trucking Sector, 4) Health and Wellness: A CDC Perspective, 5) Relationships between Personal Factors and Obesity in Cross-sectional Study of Drivers, and Driver Weight Loss Programs That Are Working. Jennifer Lincoln presided at these sessions.
