Use and Application of the Texas Public Health Risk Assessment Tool

Overview:

During the past year, Training and Education Collaborative System Preparedness & Emergency Response Learning Center (TECS-PERLC) has engaged with state and regional partners in various roles related to the Texas Tool for Public Health Risk Assessment (Texas Tool). The Texas Tool, an evidence-based risk assessment tool, determines hazard, residual risk scores, and resource availability for 41 hazards, and the ability to respond using the PHEP capabilities. During this webinar the presenter, discussed the development of the tool, the use and application of the tool’s strategies and activities document, and ongoing efforts for continued use of the tools.
