Evaluation and Planning

CDC has developed several resources that can be used by public health professionals to plan or evaluate public health programs addressing arthritis or other health topics.

CDC Trainings

CDC has developed trainings for public health professionals on a variety of public health topics. These trainings can be applied to a variety of focus areas including and beyond arthritis.

Physical Activity Communications Campaigns

Media campaigns to promote health messages are useful in reaching broad segments of the population. CDC’s Arthritis Program recommends two communication campaigns to promote physical activity to relieve the pain and disability associated with arthritis.

Physical Activity. The Arthritis Pain Reliever is a health communications campaign promoting physical activity to Caucasians and African-Americans with arthritis aged 40 to 65 years.

Buenos días, artritis is a health communications campaign designed to reach Spanish-speaking Hispanics with arthritis aged 45 to 64 years.
