FoodNet 2015 Annual Foodborne Illness Surveillance Report
This report summarizes FoodNet surveillance data for bacterial and parasitic pathogens for 2015, changes in incidence since 1996‐1998, 2006‐08, and 2012‐14, and other FoodNet activities in 2015.
In 2015, FoodNet identified 20,098 laboratory-confirmed infections, as well as 4,598 hospitalizations and 77 deaths related to these infections.
