What
About half of young children 2-5 years of age with an attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnosis are not receiving psychological services, including the recommended treatment of parent training in behavior therapy. According to the latest CDC Vital Signs report, about 75% of young children with ADHD received medicine as treatment. Behavior therapy is an important first step for young children with ADHD and is most effective when delivered by parents.
