Jane Henley is an epidemiologist in the Cancer Surveillance Branch of the Division of Cancer Prevention and Control, National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, CDC. She uses data from CDC’s National Program of Cancer Registries and other surveillance data to monitor cancers linked to modifiable risk factors, including tobacco use, alcohol use, physical activity, and obesity. She has contributed to more than 80 journal articles and book chapters, including publications about cancer surveillance; tobacco-related cancers; pharmacoepidemiology; and socioeconomic status and health.
