Kathleen B. Watson, PhD is an epidemiologist for the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity (DNPAO) in the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion at CDC. In this position she conceptualizes and executes research studies, designs surveillance activities, questionnaires, and metrics, and co-leads activities across federal agencies to update and maintain the nation’s goals and objectives for physical  activity.
