2016 Revised Weights

Updated October 16,2017: The Division of Health Interview Statistics has released a revised set of sampling weights for the 2016 National Health Interview Survey public-use data files. In the CSV files below, we have provided revised weights for the household, family, person, sample adult, and sample child data files. Revised weights for the paradata, functioning and disability, and family disability questions files are forthcoming.
Please delete the weight from your original file and import and merge the revised weight into your working data set.  The CSV files only contain the revised weights along with the identifiers needed for merging. Instructions on loading CSV files into your computing environment are provided in the Readme document on the 2016 Data Release page.  All of the 2016 data files will be updated at a later date to reflect the inclusion of their corresponding revised weight.
