The NORA Mining Sector workshop was held at the NORA Symposium on April 20, 2006. Five individuals from three countries joined the discussion and helped identify the following priorities:

- Greater utilization of surveillance database (MSHA)
- Establishing a surv. core (SRL/PRL)

- Ambient fine particulates
