Global Tobacco
- Global Tobacco Surveillance System Data (GTSSData)
GTSSData is a Web-based application that houses and displays data from four tobacco-related surveys conducted around the world. - Global School Personnel Survey (GSPS)
The GSPS was initiated in 2000 to collect information on tobacco use, knowledge and attitudes of school personnel toward tobacco, existence and effectiveness of tobacco control policies in schools, and training and materials available for implementing tobacco prevention and control interventions. - Global Health Professions Student Survey (GHPSS)
The World Health Organization (WHO), CDC, and the Canadian Public Health Association developed the GHPSS to collect data on tobacco use and cessation counseling among health professional students in all WHO member states. - Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS)
GATS is the global standard to systematically monitor adult tobacco use and track key tobacco control indicators. It is intended to generate comparable data within and across countries.

The IMMPaCt Program works with global partners to contribute CDC skills and resources to eliminate vitamin and mineral deficiencies (micronutrient malnutrition) among vulnerable populations throughout the world. -
Preventing Chronic Disease (PCD) Journals
PCD is a peer-reviewed electronic journal established by the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP). Articles focus on preventing and controlling chronic diseases and conditions, promoting health, and examining the biological, behavioral, physical, and social determinants of health and their impact on quality of life, morbidity, and mortality across the life span.
