Guidelines for Requesting Isolates

CDC bacteria panels are intended to provide in vitro diagnostic test manufacturers with characterized organisms for test validation.  These panels may also be of interest to the research community and pharmaceutical companies. Please note:

  • These materials are the property of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and are made available on behalf of FDA.
  • Materials should not be reused for evaluation or development of other testing methods.
  • Do not redistribute.

To place an order, please complete and submit the form below. There is no cost for the panels, but requestors are required to pay shipping fees. Refer to our Q&A page for more information.
