CDC Prevention Status Reports
The Prevention Status Reports (PSRs) highlight—for all 50 states and the District of Columbia—the status of public health policies and practices designed to address 10 important public health problems and concerns.
National Progress Report
The CDC National HIV Prevention Progress Report describes progress toward achieving key national HIV prevention goals. Using data from CDC HIV surveillance systems, the report shows results for key indicators that support planning, monitoring, and program improvement activities related to key priorities of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS), the DHAP Strategic Plan, and other federal monitoring and reporting activities (e.g., Healthy People 2020).
The CDC National HIV Prevention Progress Report provides an important opportunity to reflect on our collective progress and highlights areas where we are doing well and areas where more improvement is needed. To reach the 2015 goals, accelerated progress will be needed at the local, state and national level.
State Progress Report
The CDC State HIV Prevention Progress Report describes states’ progress toward reaching national HIV prevention goals. Using state level data available from CDC HIV surveillance systems, the report shows results for key HIV prevention and continuum of care indicators that reflect priorities of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS), the DHAP Strategic Plan, and other federal monitoring and reporting activities (e.g., Healthy People 2020).
The CDC State HIV Prevention Progress Report provides an important opportunity to reflect on individual state progress and compare progress across states. To reach 2015 national goals, accelerated progress is needed at the local, state and national level.
